Between an antihistamine nasal spray (on prescription) , and an antihistamine tablet (over the counter)??

The doc prescribed it for my side effects from my anti depressant , which is a runny nose.

Do you see why this would work better than the tablet? Do you think she believes my symptoms aren't hayfever confused

Usually prescription antihistamines are a little stronger then over the counter but they're pretty much the same. Whether or not if it's allergies, either the nasal spray or an otc antihistamine should help with the runny nose.

Nasal spray will help with the runny nose. I doubt runny nose is from anti-depressants. Never heard of that.Could be an allergy or an irritant causing the runny nose.Brandi.

My antidepressant is Citalopram , runny nose is stated in the side effects sad and doc agreed.

The AD is working really well though so this is a small price to pay :-)

Thanks Red / young ,
