Hey guys!  I'm over from the UC board (hi Red!).  I live in NC.  We have had crazy, I mean crazy weather.  85 one week, 50 the next week.  Right now the whole entire city is in a layer of pollen.  I have swept my porch about 10 times in the last week alone.

Anyway I have classic allergy symptoms....runny nose, sore/itchy eyes, sore throat, etc.  My question is...is there anything I can take otc?  We are moving and I literally do not have one spare moment to run to the primary care.  But I feel awful.

I used to have horrible allergies before I got pregnant.  After I had my son almost 2 years ago my allergy symptoms almost completely went away.  This is the first time I have been affected in forever.

Thanks for any tips!

Hi Tabitha :) You can try otc Clariten to help with your allergies or even Tylonel Sinus/Allergy non drowsy. It might take a while to take hold especially if your allergies are bad. But when you get the chance to run to the doctors, ask him/her for Allegra, Clarinex, Flonase or Nasonex for stronger relief. It definately sounds like you have allergies making you miserable and trust me, I know the feeling!

Hi, I am new to the board and would like to know if the scratchy throat and sides of my diaphram hurting are signs of asthma or what ???? My lungs don't really hurt when I take a deep breath. It is almost like my rib cage is hurting, not my lungs.....Please reply, Oakley
