I have been searching high and low on the net for a food allergy forum where I could discuss food allergies and an elimination diet but couldn't find one. But I did find this site and I could definitely benefit from posting in several areas including this one! HI!
Anyhoo, I had a IgG blood test done and it came up positive for quite a few foods. I am hoping to "cure" myself of several undesirable symptoms in my life and am greatly curious as to how I will feel when I am done with this diet. I just started this past weekend and I tell ya what! I have had the worst fatigue and headaches but was told that is the toxins leaving my body. It's nasty!
I would LOVE to hear others stories of their food elimination diets and what you had to eliminate and what you ate. I'm having a time finding some interesting foods and things I like to eat.
My possible allergies are:
milk/dairy
wheat
gluten
yeast
soy
chocolate
peanuts
and definitely positive for eggs but I LOVE eggs!
Oh, and if you did do the elimination diet and slowly brought one food back at a time, what were your symptoms when you brought them back? I am afraid that whatever symptoms I do have with any foods and just didn't notice them will be heightened, KWIM?
