Hello Everyone

I am new to this forum, I belong to the chronic pain and IBS one...I have a question please....What do any of you do for dry, irritated eyes due to allergies. I've had them most of my life, but just recently my eyes are just so irritated, especially when i try to put my contacts in! I've tried patanol but that doesnt seem to be helping much anymore. I know that the medications I'm on are drying me out more, but any sugguestions?! THANKS!

Hi Mala :) Have you tried any of the natural tear eye drops? They have some otc eye drops that are great for your eyes and you can use them as often as you like. Try to stay away from vasoconstrictors (redness relievers) because this can cause a rebound effect if used longer then 3 days. I personally like TheraTears Gel (this might be Bausch and Lomb - not sure) or other Bausch and Lomb eye drops. I also believe that these can be used in conjunction with contacts but check the boxes first.
