Hi all,

I have severe ragweed allergies and right now I am suffering terribly!

My throat is kinda sore and I am all stuffed up. It doesnt' feel like a cold, but I am not sure.....  Does anyone else have these symptoms with their ragweed allergies?

Thanks!

Yes, I get this too with my allergies. My throat doesn't always hurt, just when I get a lot of post nasal drip. And I get super stuffy too. Do you take anything for you allergies? Just keep an eye on your sore throat, if it becomes worse then you might to see a doc to rule out any infection.

Thx. Yes, I take Claritin and lately I have to double up and take Benedryl at night! i don't even know if that's good or not, but I have to do it to survive this ragweed season.
It's the worst!

Hi ,

I have been suffering so bad this year myself from ragweed.

My first year of suffering like this, I have had a bad

headache, sore throat and sinus issues. its been horrible.

i cough constantly at night it drives me insane haha

I hope it goes away soon.

I have ulcerative colitis also, so i have to be careful

of what i take for it.

i have been just taking tylonal sinus/cold.

i hope for all of us this passes.

I've been suffering miserably more on than off for a month now. Constant stuffiness. Drippy nose, on and off sore throat. On and off earaches. Got up this morning not feeling too bad and then withing 10 minutes I was feeling very ill. Bad headache came on. Have had many sinus type headaches above my eyes on and off for 3 or 4 weeks now. Constantly feeling drainage running down my throat. Have had alot of tiredness also. Pressure in the ear also. Yuck.

Ragweed is one of the worst ones for me. I always end up in an upper respiratory infection. I have also had it to develope into bronchitis and ear infections. Imagine an ole woman like me at 54 still getting ear infections.

Susie, 54 is not old! To my grandmother (who's 88), you'd still be a spring chicken ;) I think ear infections as an adult is the worse. I had only one as an adult and all I can say is I hope to never ever get it again!
