Anyone out there with knowledge of positive D-Dimer Tests.  I have a history of clots, however did not realize that this is also connected to possible pregancy (there is no way) and cancer.

Does anyone know about the cancer associated with D-Dimer Test being well over 1,000 with a standard of under 500.  Please speak up if you do.

Hi there and welcome to Healingwell. I'm not sure we will be able to answer your question properly here on the Allergies/Asthma forum since I don't believe this pertains to Asthma or Allergies?? I didn't know what it was you were talking about so I looked it up online and I found this website:

http://www.labtestsonline.org/understanding/analytes/d_dimer/test.html

I don't know if this is of any help to you or not but I wish you luck. It sure doesn't sound like fun to be going thru what you are.
