We are having crazy weather here (it is supposed to be 80) in NC. I saw my doctor today b/c I feel like poop! She gave me Xyzal to try for a couple of days. I also got a script for an antibiotic but I want to give this a chance. I had been using Nasonex but she gave me Veryamist to try. Thanks for your help!

Tab,

I wasn't familiar with it at all, so I did a little research on it.  It sounds very promising.  It was launched in England in 2001 and just released in the U.S. in May 2007.  I know my allergist who treats my asthma and allergies has told me several times that England gets the best asthma/allergy medications way ahead of us, knowing that, I would certainly give it a try.  From what I read, I wouldn't hesitate to try it.

My allergist also says they are allowed to treat asthma more aggressively in England then they are here.

Good luck!

Carla

Thanks Carla. It was funny when I was leaving the doctor I was on the elevator w/ the sales rep for Xyzal. Of course she was singing its praises! Most antihistamines give me the shakes but I had no problems w/ this one. Thanks for your help!
