In August I noticed a small blister just under my nail on one of my toes.   It grew a little more each day.  By the end of the week it had covered my entire toe and was onto the top of my foot.  Since it didn't hurt, I usually forgot about after I got dressed in the mornings until I went to bed at night and saw my foot again.  It broke in about 7 days, still didn't hurt, but my toe turned fire engine red.  I finally went to the doctor and he had no idea what caused it.  He sent me to a dermatologist, but by the time I got into see him it was almost healed so he had no idea either.  Well, they came back on the other foot 2 weeks ago on 2 toes.  I went to the dermatologist while they were still on my foot and he still had no idea.  He did a biopsy on one of the blisters and I'm to see him tomorrow.  about 2 days after I saw him I got another blister on my other foot.  Still no pain on any of them.   I haven't started any new meds or new soaps, etc.   Anyone ever heard of this before?

I'm sorry that you are having to deal with the blisters. This is a forum dedicated to all things Alzheimer's. You can try asking on our Allergies/Asthma forum and someone might come along to help you. Or you can just wait to see what the doctor has to say.

No problem. It's easy to get lost in here on your first visit/post :) I moderate both the Alzheimer's forum and the Allergies/Asthma forum, but by posting your question in the proper forum, you will probably get more responses.
