I've tried to think of my anxiety like the flu before. Although I find that I have been anxious so often lately that I am always saying "I don't feel good". My husband recently responded with "you never feel good" that made me feel so much worse.
Poor guy he didn't mean it but I broke down sobbing afterward... I hate anxiety - I think someone should come up with electrical impulses that would "shock" our brains everytime we start to feel anxious so that we could train ourselves to stop it the minute it starts... kinda like invisible fencing... that would be sweet!!!
