Hi painter...Sounds as thought you are going through a rough patch just now, and as you say - meds will help, but through your clear thought processes about the 'upside' of things - I am sure you will be feeling much better soon :-)

HI Painter,

I am an art painter too. I know how things can go. Just try to take life one day at a time. I am sure that your mother's condition is really affecting you. But that is something out of your control. Try to embrace it if you can. Spend time with her and realize that this is a natural process. Though we hate to lose our loved ones, it is her time and she will be going to a better place. I know that you will miss her, but you will have all of the fond memories. And I believe that they never really leave us. They stay in our hearts. Hopefully you will be able to accept this and keep going.

You are on the right track with your thinking and I do think that talking to your doctor is a good idea. And as Jordan said, I am also sure that you will feel better again soon.

Keep posting, we are here for you.

Good Morning Artpainter,

It is so good to see you here but I am so sorry about your Mother.  You have every right to feel anxious and be thrown into panic.  Please know I am your friend and email me so we can have a visit.

I know how anxiety can make you feel isolated and what it feels like to have friends turn away from you and you feel the pain of rejection.

You have this wonderful community of members here so you know you always have a place to come to and the members will support you.  We all care for you and you are part of the HealingWell Family.

I support you on visiting with your physician.  If your not on a med, something may be helpful for you during this difficult time your going through.

Your paintings are beautiful and how I would love to have your talent.

Warmest thoughts to you my friend

Hi Artpainter,
I am very sorry that your mother is ill and I wish you the best of luck in hoping she will improve.  Going to the doc for meds is not a bad thing, especially if it helps you through this very difficult time.  Even though we would like to handle the anxiety/panic on our own, we aren't always able to do that and often need meds to help us.  There is nothing wrong with that, so if you need to have them, then give it a shot to see if it helps you.
You are so right in saying that you can only control how you react and not anyone or anything else.  Good for you in thinking that way!!  Keep posting and we will most certainly help you and you won't lose these "old" friends here on this forum.  We are here to help.
Take care and (((((HUGS))))),
