So many of you in this room helped me when I had to fly.  It is ironic that I had to fly with my partner to a job interview last month.  I wanted to leave the airport as soon as we got to the gate.  My partner just told me to put on my head set and listen to music.  That's neither here nor there.  Point is, my grandmother passed away and two weeks ago, I HAD to get on a flight to Denver.  Without the support of this forum or taking that first flight, I don't think that I would have made it.  The Lord works in mysterious ways.  Thank you everyone!

I just joined this thing, but i wanted to let you know that i share your terror of flying- and have made HUGE steps toward overcoming it in the past 6 months or so...if you ever want to talk next time before you get ready for a trip- I'd be happy to tell you some of my stories and what has helped me!

You have my deepest sympathy at the death of your Grandma.

Isn't it amazing what we really can accomplish with a bit of support and a lot of hard work on ourselves.............Congratulations, you have now earned your very own wings.

I am so glad the HW and the great members were able to help you learn to fly on your own.

Hugs to you hun and be very proud of yourself.

I'm sorry your grandmother has died. What a sd time for your family.

It's good news, though, that you had already flown and tackled those demons abit, so that you weren't having to faace them at a time when your energies needed to be directed elsewhere. Bravo to you for doing such a tough task so successfully.
