How's it going... yea the whiny baby is back *me* -.-... how are you all... I'm just you know... dealing as usual... 76 days off the booze, got a new Psychiatrist and I'm on day 4 of being on this new drug called Clomidramine or however it's spelt... other than that I'm on Zoloft 50mg ever since July 27th I believe too, nothings really helping... everyday I feel like crying, I'm OCD about how I am... why can't I enjoy life and such is what I am concerned about, I love my life but hate myself I guess. :| Well... bye all.

Good to hear from you............now no self hating allowed, not with your track record of 76 days of sobriety.  Congratulations my friend.  I know it is extremely tough and you are probably going through the self blaming for taking up drinking to begin with.  Throw those thoughts away and stay in the moment.

One day at a time my friend.................you can do this, you are doing it.

Glad to hear you got a new Pdoc.  Hopefully this new Doc will be able to help you deal with the OCD.

Please know I support you and keep on talking to us.

Gentle Hugs

Hi Paulos,
Listen to Kitt, she knows.  She is right when she says that you can do this and indeed you are doing it.  Things get tough when you are trying as hard as you are, but you always can come here to vent and we will be here for you.
I hope that you are having a wonderful weekend.  Not too much going on here, same ole, same ole.
Hugs, ...Karen

I'm so happy to hear from you! Sorry that you're still feeling so low, but try to let go of the self-blame. You are knocking a very tough problem right now with giving up alcohol, and we're all so proud. It will be hard to do everything at once, so try to be gentle with yourself about the other areas of your life. I know you've been worried sometimes about other people's perceptions of whether you can take care of yourself, but I think 76 days of sobriety says an awful lot about how strong you are.

You're getting there, and things will keep going more successfully. Try to kick those dark thoughts away and remember that you've got all of us right over your shoulder, caring about how you're doing.

Big hugs,
