Out oF Work Due To Health Problems.........Insomnia.........

You're so right....what is there to do at this time in the morning? IT DOES....IT DRIVES YA NUTS smhair
I haven't been working due to my health problems since the end of January of 08. I'm trying religiously...o.k...not so religiously, but I'm trying to find a job.  Maybe that will make matters better and my life a little more "normal". And maybe then......maybe....I'll be able to sleep like a "normal" person again......

I work as a nurse at a nursing home and work very hard indeed...But I still cant sleep....Now that the meds I am on and the no alochol I think I will be finding my night alot better in the near future....Then again I am on such a positive happy few days I may only be talking myself into it, either way I plan on many many restfull nights where the sandman comes to visit. xx haha! P.s Get a job, even if u dont feel up to it, maybe casual...I think it may help in all areas of your life babe. xxx

I worked all my life as a Nurse and due to so many different illnesses I had to sell my( RET) home and I have had a hard time with it

I am going to be finding something to do like perhaps part time at a school or centre for disabled or Alzheimers Patients
I have a hard time sleeping as well but I tak my trazadone and within 20 minutes I am out like a light

Krista, there is a lot you could be doing for your insomnia. Begin exercising during the day but not close to bedtime. Take warm baths, read, write in a journal. Also, don't take naps during the day. Do you think a medication could be causing the insomnia? Spend time each day looking for a job. Maybe once you begin setting a routine, you'll be able to sleep better. Good luck!
