Morning All!  It sun is just now throwing some "twilight" here at this time. . . Been up programing and writing all night, lol. . . Chores then sleep.
What is your morning routine that you do to help you prep your day in dealing with anxiety/pain?

Good Morning  Family,

I am alive and well........but most important my sister is too.  :-)   turn   :-)   turn   smilewinkgrin   :-)   yeah   .

My morning routine is to open the shades and look out into the back yard to see if the pheasants or the turkeys are out eating.  I love the turkeys best as they remind me of myself. cool Then I get my cereal and settle down to come here and get my morning dose of Healing.

I am just so thrilled that everything went great Kitt!!! I have been praying and worried. And to find this out brings out my favorite emotion. . . laughter through tears. :)

My morning routine is checking the woodstove to make sure it's going, visit with Grandma a bit to see how she's doing, then I open the computer and read my news while drinking some ice water. . . Chores then coming on HW while checking my email, weather and impending bills :)

For the anxiety I usually eat fruit and don't have to worry about a workout, because my chores have me worn out until the afternoon, lol.

Kitt! I am so glad to hear everything went well and your sis is doing well too!! yeah
You're such a strong woman, you're an inspiration to all!!
Let's see...I have realized that eating well in the morning is VERY important in dealing with anxiety. I try to eat a good breakfast and also drink fresh fruit juice and some tea with honey in it. When I eat well in the morning and afternoon, my anxiety is pretty much under control.

Kitt, so glad to hear that your sister is doing well.  Hope she continues to improve!
My morning routine is very slow and relaxed, as having a rushed morning makes me uptight and seems to affect the rest of my day.  I get up, take my meds, make a cup of tea, and go online for a while and watch the news or something else on tv.  When I finish my tea, I take my shower, take the dog out for his morning potty and then have breakfast.  I have more trouble on mornings that mess up my routine or when I'm being rushed by someone (usually husband) to get moving, or have an appt.

Kitt, let us know what's next for your sister! I'm so glad things went well!

I don't have a routine in the mornings to prep me for my dealings with anxiety. I drink tea every morning and have 2 granola bars. I take my first dose of beta blocker. That's it. But you bring up a good point. We should all be doing our relaxation techniques before heading out the door.

Kitt, I am so glad to hear about your sister. Things went well and that's what we all had hoped and prayed for.

My morning routine is very least to me it is. I get up at 7am and get the kids ready for school. By 8am, I am back at home and I usually go right back to bed. I don't sleep well at night. Usually about 5am or 6am is when I get to sleep finally. My panic attacks keep me up all through the night. I hate it. Anyways, I get back up around 1pm or so.....earlier if I have any doctor appointments. The morning is the only time I get any "real" sleep. Then around 1 or so I just continue on with my day.

That's usually how my day starts. I wake up feeling like the day is lost.

Aurora, I often feel as though the day is lost too. I sleep much better in the later morning hours like you do. Is there anything you can do about the panic attacks keeping you up all through the night? Like increase the dose? Maybe you could ask your doc. I hope your sleep gets better!

I pray when i wake up, i take my zoloft and thats about it- oh and listen to good music in the car on the way to work

Glad to hear you & your sister are okay. Are those wild turkeys where you live? I remember my outdoor education classes were a few weeks out in the woods & there were wild turkeys running through the forest. How fun! :)

My morning routine-
Take my B-12. :) open up all the blind to let the sun in. Fix some breakfast, then jump in the shower.
If I have extra time I check my e-mail or write letters to my friends.
