Hi there...I just wanted to let you know it has been 57 days since my last drink and my anxiety has decrease substancially. I drank to escape and I thought I needed it. I guess just to get by from one day to the next. I needed it to sleep, I needed it to pick myself up, I needed it to forget. The thing I have found out only after quitting is that it was a major reason for not sleeping, for not feeling good about
myself and keeping me in the past....Free yourself from the booze trap and I promise you you will feel free...Free to heal. Your CBT will have much more effect if you are sober. Stop punishing yourself and start taking care of yourelf...YOU are worth it!!! Gillxx
