Good Morning Family, I luvs ya all................ turn
Sleep is key to having a good day. It’s difficult to feel happy or even put up a cheerful front when you’re tired.

Hi Kitt

Yes i wish I could get more sleep, my sleep patterns are so messed up and im lucky to get 2-3hrs a night and when I do goto sleep I seem to get bad nightmares and often wake in a panic. Kitt you are so right when you say its hard to feel happy or put on a cheerful front when your tired and I find a few bad nights of sleep and my mood is really low and my anxiety worse. I have tried all sorts of things to help me relax and get some sleep time and was given tips by my therapist which I have given a go but still having problems.

Yes I do. It seems as if I am always tired. I do sleep at night, but always wake up once or twice a night, and I think that is what makes me so tired.

Been living with Crohn's Disease for 33 years. Currently on Asacol, Prilosec, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain, Zofran, Phenergan, Probiotics, and Calcium and Xanax as needed. I sleep at night but often toward early morning I will have nightmares that wake me up and then I toss and turn at  5:00 AM.

I am a person that needs at least 8 hours of sleep at night or I get an increase in my anxiety and I feel punchy all day.

With more sleep you have more energy and I am a low energy person right now so I do need to sleep. smurf

I could definitely use more sleep.  I'm beginning to see that being in school and trying to get all the studying and homework done is causing me a great deal of stress and affecting my sleep.

Hi everyone. 

Right now my problem is I get more than enough sleep.  Because of a combination of stess and depression I have been sleeping through days and through the majority of my nights.

Like each of you, if I do not get a normal 8 hours sleep I am totally off balance.  But on the other hand I have gone totally off balance in the other direction.
That's my input!

I notice i have been very very sleepy lately and I am thinking "rationally" which i am not good at and am trying to think that its the weather change that is doing it. I have a fear of HIV and I have been tested at 4 weeks after and know its not completely enough but its reassuring. I CANT stop getting into panic and depression about it. It makes me so tired and gives me headaches.

I definately wish I could get more sleep than I do. Also, I'd rather sleep at night than during the day. I'm so afraid to sleep at night and it's just, after the kids go to school...that's when I usually sleep. I'm up now though...I'm tired as all get out but I'm up and I'm trying to stay awake.

I am always tired so I do wish for more sleep although truthfully less interrupted (waking, weird dreams, occasional panic attacks) more restful sleep would probably help with the tired feeling.

I'm always tired, too. I'm always in the mood for a nap. I guess I should go to bed earlier but we know how that works. Plus I like to read in bed which makes me fall asleep later.

Sleep. . . What's that?

Yes, I wish I could sleep more :) I don't have time for nightmares or any dreaming, because I feel like I just die when my head hits the pillow. . . then towards the morning my mind starts roaming on all the stuff I need to do, so instead of laying there and stressing, I just get up and get it done. . . Not the best way to deal with things, but it works :)

...........I have to go to bed about 7 pm and I am up at 4 in the am so
I can watch my shows make Cait her breakie and get cleaning routine done then bills paid or groceries bought then I am on here
I find w/o that sleep I am a grizzly BEAR believe me

I'm wishing it now..... But I gotta get my laundry done.... I think I would sleep for a week straight if I didn't have any obligations to... you know... live my life... *LOL*
I think I am being picked on by life, sometimes. But's that okay. Life and I are good buddies... I know life doesn't mean no harm. It just is the way it is. I can accept that.
