There has been a few people 70+ on here from time to time since I've been a member. My grandmother is 87 and has been dealing with AP for many years and has the most wonderful outlook on life that keeps here fairly calm. She only suffers when an unexpected physical symptom pops up out of nowhere, and then I fix us a cup of decaf tea and get her one of her benzos. We will sit and talk awhile, and she gets to feeling better and will retire with a glass of ice water and a few crackers :) I know this dd is not age discriminatory. . . We have members here of all ages that suffer the same. . .

Hope this helps!

My dad's never been diagnozed with an anxiety disorder, but he's nearly 70 and still has the same habits of excessive worry as he did 30 years ago. Anxiety doesn't seem to disciminate on the basis of age, does it?

Hey there, from my work experince as a nurse, we had many people over 70 with Anxiety and panic.  They seem to have a lot of Health Anxiety which would seem natural IMHO.
