You sound like you're in the throes of health anxiety. It's okay not to read or surf about
symptoms; in fact, for lots of us with HA, those are BAD triggers. You might feel better if you made an appointment with your doctor. Make a list of questions for him/her, and try to write down the answers to each one. What especially helps me is to ask how what I'm experiencing is different from what I'm fearing. For instance, if you really were afraid of losing a finger, you could ask your doctor how what happened to you is NOT ABLE to make that happen. Then write that answer down, or have your parent or a friend repeat it to you over and over.
