Could you possibly be trying to catch a cold? I know that I have that sensation right when I am starting to get a cold. Also, when you are anxious do you tend to breathe in and out alot, maybe you are hyperventilating and it is drying out your passages???? Good luck!

I get this sometimes and I think it is related to Burning Mouth Syndrome, which is a common anxiety symptom according to my GP.
