I escape. I play role playing games and do live action role playing. Yes I am one of those kinds of people. turn I have lost weight running around fighting with padded weapons. I was almost 230 lbs. When I was young I was around 95 lbs. and wore very sexy clothing. After I got married and had my two girls I got fat and miserable. I tried exercise and then found Live Action Role Playing through my role playing game group group. My first husband went out a few times but did not like it at all and expected me to give it up. It was the only thing I ever found that made me run around. It was such a high that I quit doing drugs. The live role playing helped me stop all of that. When I get to be another person my anxiety is far lessened. My ex forbid me to go out to do live action role play. eventually I got fat again and then started back on drugs and my anxiety got worse. We finally divorced when he left me because I was too fat for a skinny girl. My new husband of the last five years is great. I met him at one of the live games. I am drug free and down to 120 lbs. I had an anxiety attack a few months ago and everyone helped me out of it. I hope my weirdness helps you or inspires you just from the story. Thank you all for posting your stories. They have helped me tremendously.
