I am Gail *Nanners* and I suffer with Crohns Disease myself. I developed anxiety related to the same issues due to the Crohns. I take Xanax when needed for my anxiety. I take the lowest dose available at the first hint of my anxiety and it stops it in its tracks. I get the same symptoms as you when my anxiety ramps up. It doesn't make me loopy, but I have a pretty high drug tolerance due to taking pain meds for my Crohns for so long. Maybe you can talk to your doctor about
a different med to help out on those bad days.
