Hey, guys.  I left my pdoc a message about my medication not working, but there is another issue that I would like to bring up.  I just kind of want to vent a little bit.  I constantly feel bad about myself because I have GAD.  I constantly feel bad that I need to take medication to make me feel normal.  I constantly feel bad that I need to take 3 different medications.  Right now zoloft (75 mgs), trazadone (50 mgs), and xanax (1.25 mgs).  I take the xanax and trazadone at night to sleep because I have bad anxiety at night.   AM I SCREWED?  AM I ALONE? I don't wanna be screwed.  I want to be normal really badly! ='(  I think other people think I'm weird.  I think I'm weird too.  UGGGGHHHHHHHH.

Well you have GAD, so thats why you take medications. If you were a diabetic you would have to take Insulin. Think about your meds like this, you have a medical condition that requires treatment. Why suffer thru the GAD without the medication if you don't have to. Sometimes you have to try a few meds to find the right one for YOU. Don't give up, better days are ahead.
