Well you have GAD, so thats why you take medications. If you were a diabetic you would have to take Insulin. Think about
your meds like this, you have a medical condition that requires treatment. Why suffer thru the GAD without the medication if you don't have to. Sometimes you have to try a few meds to find the right one for YOU. Don't give up, better days are ahead.

Been living with Crohn's Disease for 33 years. Currently on Asacol, Prilosec, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain, Zofran, Phenergan, Probiotics, Calcium w/Vit D, and Xanax as needed for my anxiety. Resections in 2002 and 2005. Also diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis, and Anxiety. Currently my Crohns is in remission, but my joints are going crazy!
