So as most of you know I have been dealing with alot of medical problems/situations. Well I have an appt with the infeticous disease dr next week, finally for my fever. But I went to the OB yest for my annual and about the pain i've been having. She found a lump on my right breast and I have to wait all the way until next Friday to have an ultrasound performed...I'm worried sick. I just can't get that out of my mind. My mother had breast cancer and it came back twice. I'm so terrifed that I can't even handle myself. I don't know what to do.....It's always something....

I am so sorry your upset and you have every right to be.  My daughter had the very same thing and had the ulrasound. As soon as the interventional radiologist saw the ultrasound he said he was 99 % sure it was a cycst and did a needle aspiration. The biospy was OK.

I pray your outcome will be the same. The waiting is always the hard part.

If I didn't have lumps in my breasts, I would be flat chested. Please try not to worry! My mother had breast cancer, too. It is very curable when found early. We shouldn't always think of cancer as a death sentence, although that's easy for me to say. Many people live through cancer. Keep a positive attitude!! I'll be praying for you!
