I thought I would post to say hello.  I am currently struggling with anxiety (and maybe some depression) and in the process of getting help for it.  I have appointments lined up but unfortunately they are later this week and next week.  I was looking online for some resources and this forum looked like a good place to start and maybe talk to people who are going through similar things.

hi kiri,
welcome to the board and i'm glad you're also taking the steps of getting help. I too have only started getting help. I saw someone today that might work out for me.
Anxiety can be such a hard thing to cope with on your own and if you don't have friends to confide in, or like me, don't want to confide in them, then you have found the perfect place to talk.
I was even scared to post here at first now i'm not so bad. I have good and bad days. Today is a good day.
I hope you stick around and let us know how you are,
take care,
