I have been gone for awhile with taking care of my sis. We are on a chemo break now...
I had to have verset for a procedure friday, and feeling like I am just not with it... (Very scary for me) foggy like...dizzy ect... Cried like a baby yesterday, it did get better later on in the day.
I had a reaction like this a few yrs ago, and missed 4days of work because of it.
I didn't think to mention that on Friday to the Dr. I know that I will have a huge flag on my chart after this! I wouldn't wish this on anyone...
I know that it will get better a little each day, but wow! Full blown panic for hours! Meds don't seem to help me with it either, make it worse...go figure
Anyone else have a reaction like this to versate?
I am also on effexor, and I am wondering if that has something to do with it to...
Thanks Everyone..
I wish you all well...

Panic Queen,

I have never had a reaction to Versed however years ago I had a minor procedure and woke up with a severe panic reaction.  I do not even know what the med was now as it was given in the O.R.  I do know the next time I had a procedure the med was not even being used anymore and I did fine.

Long answer short, you could have had a reaction but 4 days is a long time for it to last.

Take care,
