Going to see new PDoc soon, have anxiety and mood problems.  Was reading about Neurotin today and wondering if there are any good results out there.  I have been on every mood stabilizer in the past and either did not work, bad reactions and unbearable side effects.
Let me know if anyone is on this.

Hey Gem,

I have not had personal experience with this medication, but a few friends of mine have had much success with it. Somebody with more knowledge will be on here shortly to maybe help you further, and of course, please do discuss this with your pdoc. It is always good to be open about these kind of things :)

Take care and the best of luck to you!

open minded I am.  New PDoc appt on the 30th, making a list of all meds I have tried before, why they did not work out.  Trying to go in well informed and have been reading about different meds that are good for anxiety and mood stabilizing.  I have tried or been on all typical drugs of this nature:  lithium, seroquel, lamictal, depakoe, trileptal, thorizone, risperdal, etc.

Just hanging on until the 30th and hoping a fresh approach will be just what I need.

Thanks for reply.

I have not taken this med but perhaps others will have insight for you.

My P-doc really likes Lamictal for a mood stablizer.  So far I do not take one but she does mention in frequently as one I should read up on, which I have.  cool

Good Luck,

I have taken this, but it was for nerve pain. IT worked for about 20monts or so and then stopped quickly. I am now trying Lyrica. Not sure if this will be of any help, but I try. Th nuerontin did make me tired at first, I think it lasted about a month for me. I was taking 300mg 3 times a day and was up to 600mg 3 times a day for a while.

Take care,
