Being on meds (zoloft) since July I do feel much better with my anxiety. But, everytime I take my meds I say to myself, "Am I nuts?" What really happens to us that we need to rely on medication? Are there any long term effects from taking them. This is also probably one of the reasons I can't sleep..worry!
Does anyone else think about these things?

Hello Sunshine and Good Morning! You are not nuts, sometimes people like us just get a chemical inbalance. Try not to worry about long term effects (easier said then done) look at it one day at a time. As long as you are feeling better at this point that is all that should count. I too take medication, do I look at it long term? Sure I do, do I look at the effects? No I don't. I just know that it is working for me now and that is all that counts. Try not to think about it so much. Try to have possitive thoughts when going to bed. Think about how tomorrow is going to be a good day. Possitive thoughts have a posstive out come. Good luck and have a great day!!
