was just doing a lassange and went to get the cheese for the topping,, and we never had none,, so i grabbed the car keys and was about to go get some, when my husband shouted,, "thats bloody lazy that is" i said "what is" he said "going to shop in the car why dont you walk you will end up just like ya bloody mam not been able to walk places"  oh and he said other stuff,,bearing in mind me poor mam has just had knee replacement so cant walk much,, and she also has a bad heart and other things wrong with her,, he just does not think,,, so i said " i dont think so and you seem to forget i suffer from colitis and have panick attacks if my colitis starts" it caused a bit of a row,, he just does not realise,, one day i was walking home from work and my colitis started and  then followed a severe panick attack i was shaking i could not breathe i was in a mess and on my own, cars passing by fast, i was a wreck i managed to ring home but the husband never ever answers the fone for some reason, so then i was panicking even more,, and rang a neighbour to get my husband quickly to come pick me up,,, so this and many other experiences like it have put me off walking places on my own incase it happens,, its a bloody scary thing and he doesnt understand at all,,, i,m not a lazy person i do lots of things,, it really hurt what he said,,, i am really fed up right now x

Hi jo1972uk.
It's like you said, he just doesn't understand. Don't let it get to you, people sometimes say hurtful things without realizing it. They say things on impulse. I am sure he didn't mean to upset you. Maybe that's his way of showing care for you? Of course, it came out totally wrong, but it happens.
Maybe you can ask him to go for the walk with you? That may put your mind at ease when walking.
