My doctor had me on twice-a-day fluoxetine (20mg).  I was on this dosage for two months and then my anxiety attacks increased.  I did some research on the side effects of fluoxetine and found out that it actually can cause anxiety.  So I requested my dosage be lowered to once-a-day and the anxiety attacks have lessened in frequency.  I normally have them every day.  Last week, I had three in a row costing me three days of work, but at least I was able to work some.  I'm hopeful this upcoming week will be a tranquil one; I feel good right now because this is my off-day, but tomorrow?  I don't know.  I'm going to work irregardless because if I don't, then I don't have a place to live, no food, no gas money, etc.--no money coming in.  Just wanted to say, if you are on twice-a-day fluoxetine and you're getting the jitters, might want to look into it.

Thanks for your input and I do hope tomorrow is a good day for you.  Just remember to kick the anxiety to the curb.

When I get busy at work (setting up the unit for Priority Mail processing, etc.) I seem to have a harder time 'giving in' to the feelings of anxiety. Then again, when it's not so busy, I don't have a problem. The main issue with work has mainly been not enough help in my work unit, and now the big changes that are going to occur at my facility soon (jobs being reposted). I'm trusting in the Lord to make sure I land a bid job that will not aggravate my panic attack disorder. I'm really learning to trust in God for everything, just like He wants us to anyway.
