It started about 3 years ago when i addicted. that day i almost died. since then Ive had bad panic attacks and anxiety.Doctors thought I was crazy when I told them its the soap in my body casing this. Come to find out it was the bad high that made me feel crazy. So now I have anxiety and panic attacks. Burning and tingling all over, feels like I'm dying. A weird sensation that goes through my neck up to my face then back down to chest, cold chills. I did see a pscy doctor that put me on Paxil and the symptoms subsided. Nearly 1 1/2 being off paxil I havent gotten a severe panic attack or felt the wierd sensation, till today . right now Im sick from head cold and nasal congestion. I took medicine and drank tea with lemon and juice, I also ate some hot spicy chips to clear my nose, after I did this i started to have those feelings again, like Im dying feelings of fatique, burning sensation, tingling feeling, cold chills, the works. I prayed to god and thanked him that it was over, but appernetly it is not over.. Is this anxiety I'm dealing with or something else? Someone please comment blush

Anxiety often does come and go - so it might be something you won't have to deal with for some time, but then something triggers it and you're off again feeling anxious. It could've been something as simple as being more self-conscious about your body since you got sick and that self-consciousness reminded you of what it was like when you used to have panic attacks. Or there might not be an obvious reason that the anxiety returned. Hopefully you've learned some coping techniques when you last had the anxiety that you can use now. Of course if it continues you can always consider briefly going back on medication, even if it's something fast acting that you can just carry around for those unexpected attacks.

Hello and welcome.  I am sorry to read of your problems but I think it does sound like you have some form of anxiety however I am not a Dr.  Perhaps it is time to revist the P-doc to try to learn ways to deal with your symptoms.
Sometimes the panic attacks stay away for a long time then something trigger us and we are off and running again.

Hi Helpnow and welcome. It sounds as if your recent attack was triggered by your virus. I think that when we get run down, as with an illness, we are more susceptible to anxiety. I am sorry that this happened, but remember that setbacks are to be expected. Healing is not always linear, but filled with steps in many directions. You don't have to start over from this point, you haven't lost ground, you just hit a bump and can continue on now. Be sure and practice your relaxation and breathing exercises to guard yourself against any more panic. I'm sure that with rest, and recovering from your virus, you will feel much better soon.
Be well,
