For now I would encourage you to take your medicine and not worry about getting off the medication already. You need to get better and if it means using medication then take it all one day at a time.
I do not feel you are going crazy ~ you just have really bad anxiety and with help you will feel better.
All individuals need a safe place in their lives. If I had to name my safe place it would be my home. What helps me is having safe people in my life and if they are with me I can go anywhere. My husband, and my daughter are the two I rate at the top of my list. Knowing they are with me and I have someone that knows my issues and are there for me in case I stumble makes me feel secure.
You may feel like your going to die but you are not. What I'm saying is, do the things you think you can't do. Observe that nothing will hurt you and you will be fine. You've just have to believe that you are OK. Anxiety can make us feel such odd things, and think such disturbing things. Remember, it's just the anxiety! There's nothing wrong with you. Just try to accept the sensations you're feeling in your body, know that they will not hurt you in any way, and ride them out. Don't fight it. It's not trying to hurt you. It's just the way you feel right now. And the sooner you are at peace with your sensations, thoughts and feelings, the sooner you can return to normal.
It makes me sad to think of you sleeping in your car. Please keep on seeing your Dr.
