I know how you feel, I do. You have not gone crazy. You will not go crazy. The hallmark of a sane mind is the fear of going insane. How many insane people worry about there sanity?
I know about the fear of passing out too. Have you ever passed out? It doesn't read like you ever have. Your trying to avoid the negitive feelings and sensations associated with a place, or any place for that matter. Just to reference back to my first point, that makes you sane. A normal person tries to avoid those things which make them uncomfortable.
I had a huge attack less than 2 days ago, I thought it was the heartattack I'm petirfied of. It wasn't. It was fear. I know to us it is the most real fear in the world but, all it is is your body giving you a false alarm.
There are two islands, the island of your perception andthe island of true reality. The island of your perception is real to you. It is based on your feelings, both immotional, and physical. Everything you see, touch, taste, etc is real to you, so therefore your perception is your reality. Now there's the island of true reality. This is what is seen by a third party. A spouse, doctor, loved one, etc. They see you scard, the see your heart racing, but they don't see anything causing it. The see you're healthy, they see your test results come back negative, they see/hear you talking negatively about an innocous situation.
Now here is the trick, how do you get from your island of percieved reality, to the island of actual reality? Everything in your perception is telling you to run, hide, cower. The exact oppiste of what you need to do. The answer is a bridge of faith. In God allah, Budda, a higher power in what ever form you believe. Isee a lot of people here pray, and ask for help. Help will only come if you work for it. You need to BELIEVE that your mind is ok. You have to have FAITH that your body is fine. This is the bridge of faith I am talking about. You have to walk into the fear and just not believe it, you have to trust in yourself and your higer power that you are fine and that if you truely need help that it will bethere for you when the time comes.
