Welcome to HealingWell.
I do understand what it is like to have people telling me " what is wrong with me" I did not tell friends or relatives of my problems with anxiety and depression but put on a happy face on the outside while crying on the inside.
If I was upset I was told all kinds of things that only made me feel worse. Looking back I can laugh at some of the comments I bought into, “Suck it up, buttercup!” and “You shouldn't be feeling, this way!"
Don't let others define who you are but work on believing you can get better.
I think you are the right track in looking for a new Dr. as well as discussing your medicaitons as you may not be on the right one for you.
I wish you peace,
