Hello and welcome to HealingWell.
It does feel to me like your mind is spinning with "what if ?" thoughts or better known as "stinkin thinkin".
Worrying about sudden deaths, freak accidents, or being murdered absolutely terrify many people but that does not mean it is going to happen. Constantly worrying that something bad is going to happen to you at the hands of another person is catastrophic thinking.
Many people have random, horrible images flash through their mind and it's so random and out of place that they realize it is just their mind going into overtime. These people often cannot watch crime or death-related shows, and sometimes I can't even watch the news.
All this "stinkin thinkin" is in your head and tends to make you exaggerate things way out of proportion.
Remember if you want the physician's opinion you have to go through some tests. It is better to know everything is OK then to worry about "what if I am dying ?"
CBT therapy is a great way to deal with Health Anxiety thoughts. Check our resources here in the forum and again a warm welcome.
