Considering seeing another psychologist and this time
I want to have a gameplan, goals. I know that I will
be "interviewing" him or her to see if they are a good
fit, but I wonder what else should I look for? In
retrospect, the last therapist had little to offer except
obvious coomments and just listening. But I'm partly
to blame because I think I just went out of habit and
something to do. Now, I'm more serious about things.
I do not expect an answer man, but than again I dont
expect close to nothing either. I am also looking on the
internet to get patient ratings for therapists. Did you
guys find that your therapists were a help to you?
My issues are gad and some obsessive thinking.
Additionally, I noticed the past tpst never offered a
committed statement on anything, it was always
a response kind of in the middle if you know what I
mean. I'm looking for someone who is proactive and
will give me knowledge that I'm not seeing. If I acess
the time spent with the last person its amazing how
little they offered. Yes I know,this is repetative from previous
