Ok heres the deal...so I went to the ER on march 30th in full blown panic mode and the dr Rx me atenolol. well at first is was working and now it makes me feel so weird. the last five years when i get anxious or in panic all the symptoms have become second nature to me eventho they are scary and this med is lowering my BP and HR and thats scares me so do I keep taking it or stop....that is the question.  PLEASE HELP!!!!!
PTSD, depression and panic disorder... 20mg celexa, 1mg klonopin and 12.5mg atenolol :(

Jess, I am sorry but I know next to nothing when it comes to meds...but I would suggest consulting with your regular doctor on this. Since this was prescribed by an E.R. doctor, who essentially knows nothing about you, and won't be monitoring you regularly, seeing a doctor consistently while on a medication would be wise.

So if you haven't already, see your G.P. If you don't have one, try to find one, and get your records all in one place so that you can have reliable, consistent care:)

Feel better and good luck,
