I was thinking today that summer is winding down...school is going back in session..football season just around the corner...cooler weather! and of course the Holidays will be here before you know it...sorry, I bet that last part just sent a few of you spinning.
I have enjoyed what little time I have been here...sharing advice and tips and doing whatever I can to help and comfort. I plan on being here for a long time and hopefully helping to create some success stories!
Wouldn't it be nice if this summer could be your last summer of having out of control thoughts and anxiety and panic? I mean it would be so cool a year from now to look back and say..."WOW, this summer was soooo much better than last summer. I felt better, I did more and I'm growing into the person that I have missed..." a calmer me"
If you want that for yourself...Do this
Educate yourself as much as you can about what anxiety is, how it works and how to counter it. There are so many sources out there...great books, including work books. Obviously Therapy in most cases works so well. Just know you have options and what you have no matter how bad it seems, is treatable! There was a day back when that I probably would have had a really hard time buying into that and if nothing else....I proved myself wrong and for once, I couldn't be happier that I was wrong!
So as you head into fall....my personal favorite time of year!...arm yourself with knowledge, the more you know, the less scary this anxiety thing can be. Commit to making a change and please drop me a message a year from now to let me know that your summer was much improved over the summer we are in now.
