redface  i never used to feel this way when i was tired before. sucks

i feel just yucky and like i can'tmake it through the day - like nobody could feel as exhausted as i do.

anyone else get this way?  just not a sleepy tired but a worn out i gotta go home and rest tired?

my b12 was out of whack but now it's going up - still not that high but in the normal range so i don't think thats it.

maybe i'm just getting older or something.  i'm 42.  maybe i'm starting perimenopause.  i didn't sleep welllast night and i am on my monthy cycle which does make me really tired but still.  i can't explain the feeling but it's jusit an overwhelming tired and then i start imagining i might pass out or something weird.  but of course itnever happens.  haha

ugh  i hate this feeling though.

Hey Hazelnut. Very much so. I usually get anxious and panicky when I'm not feeling "right"... and tired fits within those parameters. Makes me feel like I'm not really in control and I don't like that feeling.

As far as feeling very tired, like dead tired, I also get that. Not exactly sure what it's from. I'm a guy so different plumbing, but definitely tired. Anxiety and depression does wonders! :)

Let me know if something works for you.

Hi Hazelnut

Your not alone I get the feeling to. I feel very fatigued all of the time which does stop me doing activities I like to do, I have not been to the gym for months as just ti tired. I would go and have a chat with your doctor to rule out any other causes of fatigue.

Hello Hazelnut,

When dealing with anxiety it's logical that you would be tired for a couple reasons. If our mind is weighed down with worry and fear, we are going to be producing adrenaline and the hormone Cortisol as well...that will keep the mind and body at a heightened state. If the body is tense, your muscle are tense and for long periods of time...leaving us mentally and physically tired.

The other thing is...many don't sleep enough or sleep well enough. This is why exercise can play an important role in relieving the stress built up in our bodies, which will help clear our minds a bit.

The more we dwell on fearful thoughts, the more we keep ourselves revved up...the mind needs a break, our bodies need a break and in too many cases...it doesn't get a break because we focus on the fear and worry....that is enough to keep you wore out on a regular basis.

We could do ourselves a favor and quit looking for things to worry about and focus on and give the mind and body a break.

Absolutely! Your hormones, fatigue, lack of sleep, everything can affect your anxiety. Getting a good night's sleep is very important! If you don't get enough proper sleep, your mind cannot rest...and as a result, your entire body won't function right.

don't know hwat has kicked my anxiety up so much lately. except i'm feeling my age and missing my older son and i do'nt know what else. my job has been very stressful lately i guess too. i'm not happy there and want to find something else but want to ride it out until the first of the year.
