How inspiring to read you made it and that you were able to help others make it through their anxiety too. I have a terrible fear of speaking in front of crowds and I find if I have one other person standing with me my fear level drops by 50 %. Also standing behind a podium helps as I have some place to rest my shaky hands.
When I had to do public speaking I did not have the tools in my arsenal that I have now. The most helpful one is doing some deep breathing. This is the one thing that helps me the best when anxiety tries to take over - deep breathing and staying in the moment.
Trust that as you grow you will continue to learn to use the many tools to help you control your anxiety and even if you do have a touch of anxiety again you will make it through and keep on moving forward.
