Well my friends, I now have another mental illness that plagues me, but its not a mental illness per se; it has to do with my brain nontheless.
It's Tardive Diskenesia, where you have involuntary movements with your body. Mine, it's mouth movements---teeth grinding, tongue moving, salivating and my feet move and toes scrunch up. It's constant, keeps me from going to sleep for long periods of time---up to six hours after I take my nighttime meds, which include Latuda and Tylenol PM. I think I got TD from taking Reglan for up to five years for my stomach problems, which is called gastroperesis (my stomach won't empty properly). I don't think I have the gastroperesis anymore, but the TD remains. Anyone have this and has been successfully treated? I'm supposed to see a neurologist in August, which is a long way away for me having to deal with this malady. Good to talk to all of you again, and take care.
I am a 21-year employee of the United States Postal Service, which has been a long period of trials and troubles for me. I've been physically ill a lot and suffer from depression, obscessive-compulsive, and panic disorder, just found out I have PTSD too. What a basketful! Lord Jesus, take it all away, please!
