A good way to ward off anxiety is to be mindful and focus on your breathing. Especially during an attack. Have you talked to your doctor about taking medications for anxiety? That may be a place to start. But if you don't want to take meds, work on the mindfulness and focus on your breathing. In through the nose and out through the mouth. It really does help. So does meditation. We have a lot of power over our minds if we exercise it.

I hope that you feel better soon.

A big welcome to the anxiety forum I am glad you have found us and good to meet you. Sorry to read your are having high anxiety at the moment it can be very hard to live with the medication should help ease your symptoms but can take a while to build up in your system.

Meditation is a good way to relax I am currently doing a Mindfulness CBT course which is all about living in the moment I have found it to be one of the best therapies I have done and would recommend it to others.

Keep posting here and you will find good support we are here to listen.

I try not to worry about the future -- so I take each day just one anxiety attack at a time.
