Hi S.K. and welcome back...although I am sorry it is because of your current anxiety producing situation.:(
I can certainly see where all of these things could cause the stress to build up to a boiling point.
You are dealing not only with your own worries...but it also sounds as though you are having to bear the burden of other's anxious thoughts and opinions as well.
You are only responsible to yourself and your kids...so you will have to do what you can to take care of those needs...but as far as everyone else...I would advise you to block out those voices and go about your business.:)
Everything is going to be allright. Your surgery will be fine. There has been so much advancement in that area recently, that it is nothing compared to what it used to be, both during and after for the recovery period. (my friend's son just had his knee worked on, and it went so well!)
And your daughter will get better, and you will not get reported for an explainable/common childhood injury. All of the stress that you are dealing with is just making every worry magnified to you at the moment...
Let us know how we can be of support to you as you prepare for your upcoming surgery...we will be here. Also, if you can look to surround yourself with positive support in the way of family and/or friends for this, that would be great.:)
