I am sorry to hear of these circumstances coming together to cause you so much stress and exacerbate your health/allergy issues.;(
What has been your most successful form of decompressing from anxiety?
If you have one, or a few coping strategies that have really helped you in the past, then it is time to start using them again.
Sometimes I get overwhelmed and forget to pick up my tool belt!
If you find that they are still helpful, then great! If they are not so much anymore, then I would really recommend looking at some new sources (library, books on Amazon, our Resources here) for some ideas to approach lessing the anxiety from a fresh angle.
Do the steroidal drugs increase anxiety for you? I have heard that they do for some people. Perhaps now that you are weaning down, your anxiety levels will drop as a result? (of course that doesn't help your skin problem...are there alternatives?) (have you checked in with or Allergy forum?)
I wish you the best...I don't know if this is of any help...but at the very least, know that we care, and are here listening and offering our sympathy and support!
Let us know how you are doing soon,
