I had a doctor at one time advise me to eat smaller, but more frequent meals to keep BGL's level, and to avoid panic by a blood glucose drop.
She said 5 small meals was optimal...not leaving more than 3 or so hours between eating something.
I am glad that you were able to feel better with something in your system! Try not to go without eating so long the next time...and always fuel before you burn! (eat b4 u workout)
