Hi everyone!!! Long time no write. I think it's been close to 2 months if not slightly longer.
I was rocking the baby tonight after feeding her not thinking of anything in particular but having what I would describe as mini muscle jerks in my shoulders. Almost like a "tic" like when u are uncomfortable and ur body adjusts. Anyway, I'm sitting there and my chest begins to BURN, and I mean the someone is burning u with fire burn!!! It quickly moves below my breasts and then to my arms. I walk very quickly into our bedroom where I proceed to tell my husband I am having a panic attack. He aka why and then listens then goes back to bed. I lay the baby down on our bed and grab my Xanax. I take only 1/2 of .25
I have no idea if that little amount is going to help. At this point my skin is burning!!!!!!!i touch my skin and it is HOT to the touch!!! I take the temporal thermometer and it only reads 97.7-98.7 so frustrating! Where is all this burning heat sensation coming from?? Yikes!! It's been about
5 mins and the burning is going away but still there. I think the Xanax is working to help calm me down.
I'm still so frustrated with why this happens to me at night and that I'm not "thinking" of anything. I was just sitting in the recliner rocking the baby. Nothing different from any other night.
Ugh!!! I made it through but yikes!!
Thanks for listening.

Hi
How are you feeling now? Sometimes it is hard to work out what the trigger to your anxiety is, This has happened to me on many occasions one minute i'm fine and the next I am having full blown anxiety which sucks.
Have you ever looked into doing CBT or Mindfulness?? Both of these therapies can help you discover your triggers and then help you learn ways of dealing with your anxiety better, Just a suggestion.
I hope you are feeling better now be kind with yourself.

Hi JJ,
I am sorry that you had a rough night.:( I know that it is baffling and frustrating to have symptoms that come out of left field.
I am glad that you recovered and that things didn't get into a panic cycle...good job on recognizing the feelings for what they were...just a manifestation of anxiety.
I get the hot flashes of anxiety at times as well. Not fun.
Hibee's suggestions are great...I can't remember if you have tried therapy as a treament...but it has benefitted us tremendously.
Keep posting with us, we are always here ready to listen, and encourage you to keep up the good work on dealing with the issues.;)
Blessings to you and your family!

Thank you. I am in therapy. And it seems to help. From what I can tell they almost always happen at night or when I'm extremely tired. So then it makeshift think that it really shouldn't be an anxiety attack, but I guess what else would u call it?
Thank you for the continued support. I'm glad I have my HW family to assist me.
