I am so sorry to hear of all you are going through! I too suffered panic disorder...(and even have a similar rabies scare story that had me literally sick and shaking for days!!)
I am so glad to hear that you have an upcoming appointment to get some help! That is a great step...as is reaching out here for support.:)
If you can look into CBT as a treament option, I highly recommend it. It helped me to find recovery from panic attacks, and I have learned to manage my anxiety well.
In the meantime, check out our Resources here. (link below) It is full of great self-help ideas that you could get started on today. Try the breathing and relaxation techniques in the links and videos. They help to lower over-all stress levels, and therefore symptoms and panic.
