Hi 2S and welcome!
I am sorry that you are going through this rough transition! Start ups can be very difficult...and although I am sure that it feels like forever...you are in the initial building up and leveling off stages of the SSRI phase.
It may take a couple more weeks for the theraputic benefits to kick in and for the side effects to fade.
In the meantime, do you have any favorite coping skills that you can use to get you through?
We have some excellent ideas here from our Resources! They can be really effective if practiced daily.
They could help you during this time of transition while you are waiting for your Rx to help.:)
Here is a list of really good ones to try:
Self Help sites with breathing/relaxation exercises instructions
Panic attack relief exercises:
...and please explore all of the other good things in our Resources (main page, 1st post) and continue talking with us! Support really makes a difference.:) We are always here to listen and care!
Talk to you soon,
