I think that the ideas that you mentioned in your post are excellent ones...I would give them all a go.
Other than that...
Remember to keep your bed for sleeping only. In other words, don't use it for other activities such as sitting, eating, watching t.v. or even reading. Keep it for the sole puporse of falling into at night, so that your body and mind associate it with sleeping.
Can you take a tee-shirt of your beloved's home with you? You could have it beside you to help you feel close. The scent of her, and just the fact that it is HERS should make you feel good.:)
I know that it is going to be rough saying goodbye...so think of it not as such...but as taking a necessary, temporary break to work out the details of being together again forever next time!
