Claritin D should start working for you within an hour. I personally have had better luck with Zyrtec D for these issues. I have had ear nose and throat issues for about 10 years, though its starting to get better. As a kid, I never had allergies. Id start to get clogged sinus's and then my eustachian tube would clog up. Always on the left side only. Talk about pain! It felt like someone hit me along the head with a 2x4. All my teeth would hurt on the left side of my face. All from the tubes clogging and pressing on a nerve. I found through self medicating that Claritin D would help alleviate the problem, but Zyrtec D, for me, actually worked quicker(within half hour) and taken every day 'til the problem went away. Then switch to regular Zyrtec daily to eliminate the occurrences.

As far as the panic, phew!! Did I have a doozy last night. I am runnning low and will run out of Xanax before my next doc visit, so I took an Ativan. 3 hours later I was forced to take a Xanax...it was a bad one!! No matter what I did my heart would not quit racing. After the Xanax kicked in I was fine, but between the 2 meds I felt half drunk....lol.

Hey, sorry to ramble about me. Get your sinus's cleared then try a daily, non D(no pseudoephedrine) allergy med. Ill bet all your problems disappear. Good luck!

Deborah, my choice was Benadryl, I would take it just before bed time, I cant remember
how long I did this until my ears and stuffy head feeling went away my nose quit being a
problem, and the big on I allowed me to use less Xanax until on day I just didn't need it
a lot of people without insurance use Benadryl otc for anxiety, "don't drive with it" Peace

Funny, as in? Full? Itchy? Like you need them to pop?

Does the feeling change when you bend over? Or side to side?

Sounds like ENT issues. Probably simple allergies. Some people cant take them, but if it is allergies and inflammation, a little ibuprofen can reduce the inflammation and reduce symptoms. I know when I had sinus issues it would absolutely drive me nuts! Extremely irritating. If it is that bothersome I would get it checked out. Good luck!

No, I seriously doubt it. But if it really bothers you, get it checked out.

I do the same thing and I have severe allergies. My doc prescribed me an allergy medicine called Fluticasone Propionate. It's a nasal spray and clears me up almost immediately. If it continues, call your doc. Changes when bending over is a classic sign of sinuses and allergies.

Saudades has akways helped me with that full head feeling. Have you had your ears checked lately? I had fluid in my ears once (ear infection), and thought for sure u had a brain tumor. Not. It was just fluid in the ears...

Deb, those of us with anxiety are so in tube and sensituve abt our bodies or anything that is "off." My alkerfies felt so much better with Allegra and generic sudaphed. Your off balance is what's making you feel anxious and I assure you it's nothing more than alkerfies and fluid build up. Hugs to you!

Just keep the cotton all in for now if it helps! You'll be ok!

Wow sorry for the typos. HA! I use my phone to post here and I text fast and no auto correct here.

Do you have Xanax or something to calm down? Have you ever tried a neti pot? My friend swears by them for her Sinus's. Woukd be worth a shot. You're going to be ok, I know it feels scary but I promise we are surviving our storms together. It's hard to float on all of these waves but we are & will continue til we get safely back to shore :-)

hi deb,

I am sorry to read of your problems with your ears/sinuses. I would recommend you seek out the opinion of a ENT physician. Please know I am thinking of you.

Hugs,
Kitt
