LoL.. I am laughing. MG, because you sound exactly like me! My wife is always wanting to take these exotic trips and the thought actually makes me nauseous. We took a vacation this summer and I was miserable. I didn't sleep for the first 5 days and ended up in the ER three times! How's that for a party pooper! I felt so bad for my family and that I put a hampering on their vacation.
But here's what I want to tell you. We have since taken "mini trips" that are a little closer to home and were only gone for a couple days. I was able to handle knowing that I wasn't too far from the house and that I was only going to be gone for just a little bit. I had an awesome time by the way!
Start small.... Instead of going all out to Napa, start out with a small, shorter trip that you're comfortable with even if it means getting a hotel room in your town - you have to start somewhere!
The key thing about
vacations and get-aways is that you spend quality time with your loved ones and to rest and relax your body. Fortunately, we can accomish this without traveling 2000 miles. Stay within your comfort zone and work your way up to that Napa vacation!
Wishing you the best as always!
